Most frequent questions and answers

The dimensions of our bins are 26″ x 20″ x 17″. A good frame of reference is they will fit a microwave and have a little extra space.

NO! We pride ourselves on our upfront pricing and not sending you a surprise bill in August. The ONLY time you will ever have additional charges is if you store more than your package alloted for. For example: if the student calls for an extra bin while packing, we will be provide the bin and charge the $25 fee for the bin.

We take all of your large items. ALL OF THEM! We will store it just the same as any of your other items that are too large to fit into a bin.

You absolutely don’t have to pay for the in room service. If you choose not to, you will be expected to get your bins and oversized items to the outside of your dorm or apartment. 

If you’re not sure about the in room service right now, no worries at all! You can always go back and add that on at anytime. Even right before we come to pick up your items!

We do! We have a 10% military, veteran and first responder discount. Just send us an email and we will get you a code. 

We also have referral discounts. If you send us a referral, we will give you $50 off your package and your friend $50 off their package, too!

We are happy to help you ship anything home that you would like. We don’t charge for shipping, but we will send an invoice for the amount of shipping charged to us by the shipper.

With your written permission, we will access your bins and send anything to you that you would like. 

If you choose not to be present, we will need to be given access to your room. It’s up to you whether we gain access through a roommate or the neighborhood director. If you choose to use the neighborhood director, you will need to CC us on an email with the neighborhood director granting us access.

You can also leave your items and bins outside of your residence and we will pick them up.

YES! Buddy Packages are designed for two students regardless of where each of you live. Just let us know how you would like to split it up and we will drop off the bins accordingly.

Technically yes. Please know that we can only assign one students name to the package. We will only be dropping off, picking up and delivering to the student who is listed on the package purchase.

You can call or text us if you need an extra and we will bring it to you. Bins are first come first serve and if we run out, we will provide a moving box or similar container for you.

Yes. We will accept items that need to be shipped and provide you with an address to ship to. Based on how long the items need to be stored before being delivered will determine the cost. No item will be over $25 for us to receive, store and deliver back to you.

We also will gladly receive any items for incoming freshman.

We go above and beyond to make sure your items aren’t lost. On our bins, we have a sticker with your name written on it when we drop them off with you. We also have each bin barcoded so that we can track each bin. For your oversized items, we provide a sticker with your name on it to label it for you.

Yes. While your items are in storage, they are insured against, fire, hurricane, tornado, wind, earthquake, vandalism, vermin, lightning, smoke, hail, building collapse, explosion, leaking water, and burglary.
